Coach Valdez Biography My name is Chileno Valdez, a descendent of my grandfather, a Cuban born baseball player. My grandfather was able to leave Cuba because of his talent in baseball. I graduated from Baldwin County High School earning a baseball scholarship that provided with four years of college. I attended Georgia Military College, South Georgia College and graduated from Savannah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration. I am pursing a master’s degree in Post Secondary Education through Troy State University. For a short period, I was a part of the White Sox’s Minor League Organization. With the knowledge of baseball, I have used my talent to coach many baseball players. I have worked as a baseball instructor for over five years and coached teams that have won many championships. I currently live in Augusta, Georgia with my wife and three children. I am still coaching the game, instructing baseball, and shaping the lives of young baseball players.
