The Augusta Composite Squadron Color Guard of the Civil Air Patrol is made up of Home Schooled boys-four of them are Crusaders!

The Augusta Composite Squadron Color Guard won
First Place at the Georgia Wing Competition held in Gwinnette County on March
5. The competition consisted of 7 elements.(1) Outdoor Standard Drill (2)
Raising/Retrieving/Folding the Flag (3) Inspection (4)Indoor Drill/Presenting
the Colors (5) Mile run (6) Written Exam (7) Quiz Bowl.
The Color Guard did exceptional in all areas
of the competition, ranking 1st or 2nd in all of the elements. Trent Badger
tied for 1st place, with the highest score, on the Written Exam!

On
February 24, 2005, Christopher Greer was promoted to First Sergeant of the
Augusta Composite Squadron, in the Civil Air Patrol. Christopher was also given
the Best Cadet of the Year Award / Air Force Association Award.
Along with Christopher's promotions on Feb. 24, 2005, Justin was promoted to Master Sergeant and Joseph received his first promotion as a Cadet Airman.
