Born in 1990, Jacob Smith, son of Ken & Angie Smith, I began my baseball career on the little league fields of North Augusta, SC.  Thanks to God imparting Todd Dickson with a vision of competitive homeschool baseball, and with a true love for the game, the CSRA Crusaders were created.  I was one of the first three players to join the newly created team in my 8th grade year.  Through the solid efforts of the fathers and coaches involved with the team, CSRA Crusaders have offered me many avenues to grow as a man and a baseball player. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to be able to play with traveling teams most recently the Augusta Angels, and Chain State Elite Team.  The Crusaders have given me the ability to attend College on a baseball scholarship, in which I will major in Sports Medicine.

Special Thanks to:

Todd Dickson for the belief he always had in me as a player and all the work he put into me, as well as our organization. He is one of my heroes, who I’ll always admire.

My parents for shaping me into a Christian man, especially my dad for the many nights in the backyard helping me work out.

David & Ty McTier, for giving me encouragement and a vision for the future.

Chileno Valdez, for making me the baseball player I am, and for emplacing a love for the game in our program.

Augie Rodriguez for unveiling the pitcher in me rather than the thrower I had been.

James Davidson was born in 1989 to Lynn and Steven Davidson. While he has played and loved many sports including football and basketball, baseball has always been his passion.

He has played with the Crusaders since their second year in existence and would like to thank Todd Dickson for the opportunity to play baseball at a competitive level and all that he has done for him to make him a better person on and off the field.

James plans on continuing his baseball career in college, where he hopes to pursue a career in sports journalism.  He does not know where he will attend, and is seeking the Lord’s will in that area.

James would also like to thank Coaches Chileno Valdez, Mac Bryan, Larry Olive, and Auggie Rodriguez for continuing to make him a better human being as well as baseball player.

James would also like to thank his poppa Ed for sharing his passion and wisdom of the game.

To God be the glory. Go Bubba. Seniors RULE!

Kelvin Walker Neal AKA "Bubba" was born in 1990 to his proud parents Kelvin and Ada Neal. Kelvin has been playing baseball since he was five years young. He devotes his time to baseball and football.

Although he would love to go pro he also has dreams of becoming a law enforcement officer. Kelvin is also known for making the team laugh with his phenomenal attitude no matter how bad the day has gone!

He would like to give special thanks to Todd Dickson for giving him this wonderful opportunity to play with the Crusaders. Also he would like to thank Coaches Mac Bryant, Larry Olive, Chileno Valdez, Ken and Angie Smith and all the players! Go James! Seniors RULE!
