Wilson Miles

In August 1987, I was born Wilson Coleman Miles, III after my father and his father before him.  My sister and I began playing T-ball when I was 5.  My Dad was my first coach and has coached me every season since.  My Mom, in addition to teaching me how to read and write, has always been my Number 1 fan. While playing varsity baseball for a Christian school, I was honored with being the Rookie of the Year as a freshman and the SCACS All State catcher my sophomore year.  I have always aspired to be, associate with, and train with the best. This drew me to pursue and obtain an appointment to the United States Naval Academy Class of 2009 where I will pursue a BS degree in systems engineering and aspire to play Navy baseball.  Ultimately, I hope to train as a Navy SEAL.  Go Crusaders. Go Navy!  Beat Army!                                                            Wilson Appointed to Naval Academy

Ty McTier

Ty Kimmell McTier, 18, grew up in a creative family: his mom and brother are portrait artists and his dad, a real estate developer. Ty is a talented song writer and musician on guitar and piano, loves the outdoors, and can often be found cutting down hickory trees to make European style longbows and American Indian flat bows. These have sold to hunting enthusiasts and young archers alike.

His relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ, is primary to Ty’s life and he enjoys speaking to groups to encourage them in their walk with the Lord. Currently, he is building his own log cabin overlooking a pond. Debarking and stacking the ten-inch poplar logs felled last year, he uses only hand tools for the one-story with a loft home.

Recently, Ty signed a full scholarship with Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, Alabama, and plans to attend this fall and major in business or medical research.   Ty Signs Baseball Scholarship

Cory Dickson

Corbin Dickson is the son of Todd and Gina Dickson of Grovetown, GA.  He has been homeschooled since 3rd grade.  Throughout his high school homeschool education he has been active in programs such as TeenPact and Worldview Academy. He has participated in TeenPact Political Project camp, Summit Leadership Camp and GA TeenPact for four years. He has also enjoyed working on campaigns for a GA judicial judge and Columbia County sheriff.   Corbin has also volunteered for World Vision, Operation Mobilization Literature, Miracle Making Ministries and works as a sound technician for his local church. He also enjoys playing the guitar. He has participated in baseball and soccer. Being homeschooled has given Corbin the opportunity to start his own home remodeling and repair business, Rock Solid, during his senior year while taking classes at the local community college.  He plans on continuing to build his business and pursue a degree in business.

Eli Holt

Elijah Stephen Holt was born on September 17, 1987. He was born ready.  We have nourished and taught him for his entire life. However, we have had the help of many great people as God has brought just the right person into his life when needed to supplement our efforts. Elijah has greatly spiced up our lives. He has always been a 'gamer'. When he played his first organized baseball a month before he turned 13, he became an avid player and fan. He has worked and played hard at the game developing into a sure-handed first baseman and a most reliable fielder. Not only has his athleticism been honed, but also his character. Elijah loves being with people and playing on teams with many different ages and abilities has expanded his ability to relate and care for others. As with all things, Elijah excels in whatever he puts his heart.  Academically, he has done well- achieving above the necessary SAT score to be joint enrolled at Augusta State University. (After graduating he will attend ASU.) Musically, Elijah is a talented fiddler. ( A little known fact.) Socially, Elijah loves people and adventure. This led him to join a dance group that has performed waltz, salsa, swing and many others.
May he continue to love life and seize the day.
